MORE on Fruits and Veggies

A simple way to get fruits and veggies without even leaving you home...sort of.

Here's the deal: go to Bountiful Baskets and sign up for a basket and maybe a few other offerings that look yummy and pay for it. Saturday morning at your designated time and place pick up your basket full of fruit and veggies. (Take you own basket/box with you.)

The catch and the fun part of this is that you never know what you are going to get. The great part is you know that it is handpicked and you are getting the best of the best.

The states that participate (you need to check if they are in your particular area, too) as of right now are: Arizona, Utah, Wyoming, Nevada, Idaho Washington, and Texas.

The bread that is offered is super fantastic and freezes/thaws well.

This amount of fruits and veggies is supposed to last a family of 4 for two weeks. It works out to about that, but some of the food you will either need to freeze or eat fast. That's a great way to get those fruits/veggies in.

The price is very reasonable: first basket $18 and every basket after that $15. If you add on bread, or other offerings like peaches, strawberries, etc. the price will go up. This is for A LOT of fruits/veggies. If you are unsure of it, share with a friend, neighbor, or family member for your first basket.

GOAL: EAT THOSE FRUITS AND VEGGIES...ALL WEEK, EVERYDAY!!!
